可用 move to a place 表示“去一个地方”吗

有如此一个句子：

Her best friend is moving to China for a year.

这里为何用 move to 呢？为何不需要 come to 或 go to 呢？感觉好奇怪！请老师解答一下，很感谢！

Her best friend is moving to China for a year.

这句话的实质含义是：Her best friend will move to China and stay there for a year.

【什么时间注意】

1. move 的进行时表以后。

2. move 属非延续性动词，不跟一段时间的状语连用。这里for a year，表示move动作发生之后的一段时间，即stay或live的一段时间。

3. 用come 或 go替换 move，完全可以。只不过词义有差别而已：come, go针对说话者的地方而言，方向明确；而move则没这种方向的感觉。
